Coming down for FL game and spending Sunday night in New Orleans. Too old to remember such things anymore.

I have points, why I am looking for Marriott.

/EDIT

Wife wants to stay in a "New Orleans" hotel (she was raised near Port Allen...not sure why this is a huge thing). Think hotels from the movies and such.

Thanks again.

The Ritz is probably the best. Before I lived here I stayed in the Pere Marquette a lot and really liked it. There's a nice bar on the first level.

The Saint next door to the Ritz is beautiful.

The ritz is ok but it's so old it's not like others. The Renaissance on Common treats me great as a platinum member. Always get a top corner room and gifts. The JW is nice but a lot of rooms are tiny. They have a new one in the quarter I've seen but never stayed there.
