Sammy's, Albasha, Philays and John michaels good eats are really Pville, but close.

Maybe Half shell and Tommy's should get a mention as well

Oh shite, Roma's pizza

Yeah, it's a restaurant so that happens. I would say there is a vast majority are opposite experiences or else the place wouldn't be printing money.

For the crawfish to be laughable is virtually unbelievable. Even more so that the management did nothing to remedy the situation when they were told.

we didnt tell them. they tasted like the crawfish you get at a shitty fraternity crawfish boil. we all just agreed to never go back (save for the one dutchtown girl that was with us that swore by the place).

maybe it was an off night for them, but there was nothing that made us want to go back

Ah, just decided to come and trash them without benefit of them admitting something was off. To each their own.

are you sammy or something?

we had a large group and a bunch of us had never met prior to the dinner. i wasnt about to start bitching about the food in front of a bunch of people whom I had just met. wasnt that mad over a $15 entree.

So true, you would have Ruffinos, Le Creole, Little Village and French Market bistro just 5-10 minutes further. Different price point for sure, but a lot better than anything mentioned so far.

Nah brah, just don't get the guy that will lie to the waitress and/or manager when there, but come online and talk shite about it. Doesn't matter the restaurant.

I want to like Sammy's because it is a favorite of some close friends. Let's see, warm raw oysters shucked by an obvious amateur, bland boiled seafood, very average fried seafood. It's the big new fancy batter barn, very popular with non-foodies, paw-paw likes it, maw-maw likes it, everyone walks out with a clam shell.

Even though I have to help the server to be better, I'll take the food at Tommy's every time, and the last 2 visits service was pretty good.
