apparently it was custom made by "someone at the plant". That's what the guy heading up the raffle said.

No idea what it would cost but, i bought 2 $5 tickets.

I think that's a 4 gallon pot.

Never seen a 5 gallon with a cast lid.

4 gallons have cast lids.

Nice rig none the less

I would run an extension further out for hose hook up and put bigger wheels if you are wanting it mobile, other then that looks like a pretty nice little set up. Definitely worth $20 or so investment in some raffle tickets.

that was the first thing i thought. but, with the door closed there wouldn't be anyway to see how high the flames are. mabye need a "peep hole" as well?

I don't think you can close the door with the gas hooked up.

Sure you can, just have to cut a small hole in the door or I would just take the door off. Don't see much of a need for the door. My setup is only open in one small area for gas hook up and lighting with no issues, remainder is wrapped.

My 5 gallon has a cast iron lid FWIW. Got it from R&R Welding

My piont exactly. You would have to modify the door or remove it. BTW, I don't see much need for the door either.

I also not a big fan of the square design with 4 wheels...it doesn't seem as stable as a round one with 3 or 5 wheels. Still a nice rig though. I'd cook on it.

If true that rig was expensive if made on the clock in the plant.

That was at the EA/Brother Martin game. Nice looking rig. That pot might be a 6 gallon pot, I'm pretty sure that is a Krazy Kajun pot.

unless they changed things, krazy kajun pots have the company's name in raised letters on the lid.

I have a cast iron lid on a 5gallon pot. It doesn't fit as tight as one that dips into the pot and can bend a little though.
