The only people I know that currently use the word supper are people that live in more rural areas

As a kid we called it supper, but later changed, calling it dinner

I love in an area of 8 million people 2 miles from downtown and call it supper.

this is how it is for me, I never said dinner growing up but now I would never say supper. Strange how it changed.

I love the word "supper". Makes me think of growing up. It was breakfast, dinner and supper growing up with dinner being the large meal of the day.

I use dinner when dining out. I use supper and dinner interchangeably quite often.

I hope "supper" is your most serious problem. I don't care for "irregardless" and double negatives, but I don't get upset over hearing them except if used by one of the kids. I correct them, but they say supper.

You say that like its a bad thing.

I say supper and dinner and lunch.
Who cares ?
