Gotta go there by the 15th of September, was thinking about going this weekend.
Menu looks pretty good, but I haven't really heard much about this place. I tried searching, but searching "Iris" gives all results with "Irish".

What to order? What to avoid?

looks good

I went about 8 months ago and really enjoyed it. I wasn't wowed, but it was a solidly good dining experience.

I had the sweetbreads appetizer and it was very, very good.

For my entrée, I had the duck breast and the flavor was good, but it was just slightly overcooked.

Been twice. Once about 4 years ago and just recently this past spring. Both times it has been superb. The pork cheeks app was on point last time and if they have the veal sweetbreads w/ risotto and wild mushroom you gotta get that, it was outstanding.

I really enjoyed it a couple of years ago. Haven't been in a while.

They had a poached pear & ice cream dessert that was server recommended....and I would definitely recommend as well.

fantastic meal and even better service. it is in the french quarter but does not have the french quarter tourist prices. you can literally park across the street.

also i second the pork cheek
