I'm eating an entire bag of trader Joe's orange chicken by myself. Don't judge.

Rice is not dessert, Hoss! And that doesn't look like any redbeans and rice I ever had!

I bought a couple of two inch strips from the local butcher shop and had them put a light smoke to it. Then I heavily salted and peppered and SV for 135x4h. Finished over charcoals on the pit with the kids hot dogs. I made a compound butter yesterday with rosemary, thyme, and garlic that I topped the steaks with. Delicious.

Yes a dessert we have been eating at our house for years. 40 years in fact.

Take cooked rice and make it buttery (Sounds OK?) then make it sweet (Buttery & sweet how could that be bad) then add cinnamon (Marvelous)

Put them all together and you have buttered rice with sugar and cinnamon.

Insert dancing Banana.

Must be a N La/Ms thing because I've heard of this my whole life. My grandparents have it often.

Can't believe people haven't heard of this.

Dad is from uptown, mom from lower 9th and sw Arkansas.

We ate this as dessert regularly. With the lone exception that we added a little milk or cream to it
