Reverse seared strips and ribeyes, roasted fingerling potatoes with herbs, roasted Brussels sprouts and shallots, several a Little Sumptin's, a mess of Cabernet and some boxing....may watch the fights, too.

Sounds nice Otis. Try to pick your Boxing match carefully. Some people are quicker and meaner than they look.

Purple hull peas, turnip greens and hamburger steaks for us. No plans to watch the fight as of now. Wish I could be happy with the football games, but so far they seem bla to me.

After a week of mostly junk food, it was back to the daughter's for vegan tonight. Macaroni and faux cheese with kale. Oh the humanity!

I try not to upset the wife either. She has a side I like to avoid and 99% of the time am successful at keeping subdued.

In a life and death situation, I can think of no one I would rather have watching my back.

A can of King Oscar cross pack sardines, a jar of chicken liver pate and a large sleeve of saltines.

A six pack of Envie on my tailgate, under the pecan tree watching the soybeans being cut. Actually the weather was nice.

That diet serves me very well. I use mustard instead of pate.

The pate is homemade and good stuff that takes about 10 minutes and cost about 4 bucks. Less than that for me because a friend has given me fresh chicken livers the last few times I've made it from her slaughter.
