We boiled two sacks after Junior's birthday party and now have 30 pounds of boiled crawfish left with no eaters. The crew from the Mecca all said the cooked ones were too spicy and had to get back on the road before the sun went down. The local crew is now full and half cocked.

I may just pour an entire sack of boiled crawfish in the ditch this evening.

I'm going to skip supper tonight. About 2 o'clock I had a bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo and a plate of crawfish Étouffée. I'll probably eat a banana tonight before bedtime.

Avocado slices on a burger is nice. Had that thirty years back at a little mom and pop burger stand in Napa Valley and many times since.

We just got a newks in Lake Charles about 6 months ago, but I've been impressed by their food. Service is top notch too.
