Looks good, Darla. You're being so good with that fake rice stuff. I don't know if I could do it! I'm better off with no rice, I think. Not tonight, though. Having flour dusted before browning roast and rice and gravy with tomatoes.

One taco from last night's taco meat and a ham/ turkey sandwich. I had a taco salad for lunch today, so I'm officially tacoed out for a few days.

Thanks, Gris. I actually like this better than cauli-rice. It just takes on the flavor of what it's with. I'm working hard on the meals, but not yet seeing the fruits of my labor.

Bleu cheese, salami, a few crackers and a glass of wine. May get a bite of something else later.

I bought it on Amazon. It's not a grain, it's from the root of some Asian plant and it smells funky. You have to rinse it thoroughly and then put it in boiling water for a minute or two and then drain and dry it thoroughly. It doesn't taste like rice. Tastes pretty much like nothing, but I had it last week with some roast gravy and it made me very happy to have roast and "rice" and gravy. Consider it a vehicle for sauces and gravies.

..."smells funky...pretty much tastes like nothing" You must like gravy as much as I do. Shrimp tacos at Avocados for 3 year old sombrero and birthday song. He was confused and left unfulfilled by the Spanish version of Happy Birthday.

Good looking filet. A little too much gray though?
