Found it to be a little overpriced for the quality. But that's most steakhouses. Ruth's Chris is better between the two, but that's not to say Stroube's is bad .. just not quite on the same level. The crab stuffed filet app is delicious. Decent side of cheese grits too.

Having another gd turkey sandwich for dinner. Remind me to never buy 2 lbs of lunch meat again ever.

Have you been in a while? To be honest, it hasn't billed itself as a steakhouse for a few years now.

FDT is boiled shrimp, corn and potatoes.

There would be technicolor streaks on it before I got half way through two pounds.

Sauteed speckled trout with capers
Hericot vert with lemon juice and zest
Leftover quinoa
Cakebread chardonnay

went on Aug 6th w/ my uncle. had a nice meal .. just didn't really impress me all that much. service was solid, btw. our server ended up being a guy me and my uncle used to play basketball with in Shreveport back in the day. nice kid.

yeah I noticed they had a lot more entrees other than steak than a normal steakhouse. I'd go back to try one of those. their ribeye wasn't very good though.

The choices are roasted chicken, crab and fresh corn quiche, baby limas, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, shrimp pho (my first pho experience which turned out pretty well though I have no idea what how it's supposed to taste), chicken and sausage or shrimp gumbo, meatballs and red gravy on half of some muffalatta bread or an extra crispy turkey corn dog. Decisions! Decisions!

I'm so sick of it. Think I only have about a lb left though. Overbought on provolone though and have about a dozen slices of that left. will most likely use that with eggs wrapped in corn tortillas for breakfast

Gotcha. Yeah, the entrees and appetizers are where it's at. Not the place for a great steak really.

Prytania Liquor. Bought 6 bottles about 5 months ago. About 45.00 a bottle, I think. 2011 vintage.

Will only have 2 left. Usually a red guy, but this meal needs a white.
