Butterbeans, Steamed Cabbage, Fish Sticks, Fresh (Prison Farm) Tomatoes, Fresh (Prison Farm) Cucumbers
and Watermelon
They may be a little pricey, but we will miss the prison farm vegetables when they are gone. The deputy said the other day, they have planted 150 more tomato plants and he hopes to have fresh tomatoes until frost. I hope they do too.

Lots of okra, sweet corn and hatch peppers at the Amazon Foods today so threw them in a pot with tomatoes and then poached some red drum in that....also fried some okra.

You probably don't know that I live in Lake Charles. My roof started leaking today and that neighbor also helped me get the leak stopped, then walked over dinner for my wife and I. I didn't ask him to do either. Humbling how selfless people can be. Very glad to be where I am.
