Take Business 90 to the Tchoupitoulas exit, make your way to Magazine and take Mag all the way uptown towards Napoleon. LPG has a parking lot that you may be able to get into.

Yea I read that one already, didn't know if the parade routes were the same.

May just cancel and try another time, would Coquette be easier to get to? They have reservations available.

This is what I would do.

It would be the same but without a parking lot to park in. Once you get between the river and the parade route it's very easy to get around while the parade is rolling.

If you have the time, Id recommend heading there early before parades start. There are enough bars to keep you occupied from say 530 - 7.

You wouldn't have to cross Nap using that route

Right. His directions make no sense. Don't come down Carrollton. Go to Tchoup or Magazine from 90 and drive straight to the restaurant.

I'm going over there at 5 today from Metairie. I'm taking airline to palmetto> Louisiana and taking that all the way down to magazine.

Like BO said come down early and hang out in the neighborhood for a few drinks.

The problem with going down to Tchoups at 5 is you get caught in the Westbank traffic. But it's manageable.

Drive over at 11:00 90 to Magazine. Park in La Petite lot. Walk to Mae's. Drink cheap drinks til hungry for oysters. Go wait in line at Casamento's. After lunch walk to Del Fuego for margaritas. Back to Mae's or just stroll around drunk for a while. Coffee at Hey Cafe, then drinks at La Petite bar before dinner.
