Bought a 6'er of Saint Arnold Divine Reserve 12. Drank two of them. Blown away.

Also gave Tin Roof Blonde another shot (6'er of cans for the Saints game). Not bad as I originally thought, but won't go out of my way to buy it again.

We tore up two bottles of Ruination 10th this weekend. What a great beer. So glad to finally have it in LA.

Sad to see that it's just about all gone though.

Tried a couple of new beers..

Pretty Things Fluffy White Rabbits and Pretty Things Jack D'Or. Both were solid beers, would definitely drink them again.

Also had one bomber of Stone Ruination 10... so good.

Tried the Tin Roof Watermelon one last time, hadn't had it since the first night and it was mediocre at best.

Suspense, his SO, and I had Firestone Walkers Private Reserve Porter. It was pretty good. Good solid beer, nothing extraordinary but what Porter really is.

Is DR 12 an Altbier? I've brewed a german alt in the past, and then i tasted DR12, and they both have very similar characteristics.

That too..

Had the Hopstorm IPA at BJ's and their Kolsch and I was impressed with the IPA.

Got to try all of the Beers from the SN beercamp sampler and I am pretty impressed with all of them.

seems like an English strong ale to me more than a German style beer.

Also, i had Stillwater Autumnal. Very good beer. It is like a mix between an octoberfest and a belgian Ale.

Suprisingly good IPA. I've had this side by side with St. Arnold's Endeavor and they are very similar, almost clone type similar.

Lagunitas New Dogtown Pale Ale dry hopped w/ Simcoe (cask) was absolutely Phenomenal.

Brewdog Paradox Smokehead Scotch barrel aged Imperial Russian Stout was incredible.

Austin Amber Ale - Independence Brewing Co.

Pretty good. Not the best Amber I've ever had, though.

Got a growler of Allagash Black Belgian Stout, it was excellent as the bomber bottle had been earlier this year. Also got a bottle of Helles Schlenkerla Lagerbier (yes, that is a mouthful) made with the yeast used for their smoke beer. It was refreshing German/Bavarian style lager, but probably not for the hopheads, good summer beer or for early season football.

Drank a Firestone Walkers Private Reserve Porter. Pretty good.

Also drank a Chocosaurus Rye from the Breury. A bit too much Cocoa for me, but still solid and complex.

Orange County is surrounded by fantastic breweries these days and in the spirit of the growing local craft beer movement, we have decided to team up with some of our friends for a series of collaboration ales. The first beer is Chocosaurus Rye, which we brewed with the fine folks of Bootlegger's Brewery. Located less than four miles from our own brewery and started within months of each other, Bootlegger's have been great friends of ours since the beginning and it seemed fit to brew our first local collaboration with them. Chocosaurus Rye is an amalgamation of our two breweries styles: a dark rye lager that was finished with cacao nibs and vanilla beans. There aren't many lagers that work well in the winter, but this one, full of rye spice and chocolate should do the trick. Watch a short video about this beer here.

ABV: 7%, Release: One time only, Provisions/Tasting Room

I'm definitely an Allagash fan, numerous good beers by them. I forgot, prior week had, draft @ T_Mac:

Monday Night Fu ManBrew - Witbier, enjoyed it
Ayinger Jahrhundert - Lager, very good on a hot afternoon, and its not like an American lager
Abita Biere De Garde - Saison. Good, but least enjoyable of the three.

The Fu Manbrew and Jahrhundert are keepers. Imperial stouts will always be a favorite, but it has been too hot to be drinking heavy, high ABV beers for me, which is why the Black Belgian Stout growler lasted 4-days.

I actually had an IPA I enjoyed this weekend. Probably the first IPA I have liked. It was the DFH 60 minute. I would buy that again, if I ever see it.

Tried the 90 minute, and it was way too harsh for me.
