Do they charge extra to have your sausage vacuum sealed? Jacobs charges an extra $2.50 per bag.

WJ is where I buy my andouille and they seal it as a courtesy.

They also have the best andouille IMHO.

Did Wayne Jacobs change hands recently? They showed different people running it this time as compared to when they were on Man, Fire, Food a while back.

Yes, the previous owner sold to a new guy....but I think Prev owner was involved for a while making sausage....

The owner guys sounded like they just arrived from San Francisco, but I laughed when they put up captions for some things said by the Louisiana guy who runs the smokehouse.

Someone should tell Foxworthy to add that to his routine. "If you're on TV and they have to put up captions so viewers can understand what you are saying ..."
