Watercolor/Seascape Restaurants / Other Recs

Staying with the theme, we are going to watercolor at the end of July. Wife(no pics) and 3 kids (8,6 and 4).
Looking for recs for restaurants / activities to do outside the beach.
Looking at the maps doesn't look like we will need to leave watercolor / seascape area as their seems a lot to do restaurant activity wise.
Just wondering for people that have been what do they recommend.
We already made reservations at "fish out of water" for just me and the wife one night.
Saw there is a wine bar right in watercolor that may be kid friendly.
Any other can't miss things we should do?
TIA

Great Southern is the restaurant we always use for the "nice night".
Bud N Alley's is good for a casual seafood meal.
The Shrimp Shack is right on the water - get boiled shrimp and oysters and some cold beers or wine and head out to the shaded deck.
Taco Bar sounds like what it is.
All of these are within walking distance of one another

I have to disagree about Bud'n Alley's. Last time I went, the food was terrible. The service, well....it wasn't good either. But, I don't expect much from them with service. It's a bar. The food was terrible. If you want to have a drink and make a bet on when the sun is going to set, it's good for that.
Great Southern and 30 A are both are good. I also like Seagar's down the road.

George's is good. Can sit outside so kids would be fine. It's in alys beach

Great Southern is good...If you're staying in seaside i would just suggest loading up on steaks/lobsters/fish etc and cooking in the house. The restaurants in that area have become unbearable tourist traps.

rent bikes and ride around instead of trying to drive and park. Do seaside on a Saturday morning for the farmers market.

Cafe Tango for a nice romantic meal.

Seaside Concert series is always a fun night, though it's a freaking madhouse. End of july looks like it's a band called Star and Micey.
I saw Humminghouse there one year, and they've actually gone on to be fairly popular. firekid is there this year while we're in town.
Here's a link to various activities happening at the Seaside amphitheater in July. One of the nice things (or annoying things, depending on your perspective) about Seaside is the hordes of kids running around in packs doing various kid activities.

My favorite there is Cafe Tango... Cafe 30A is nice too.

Love Tango but it is too pricey for kids.
Edwards in Rosemary Beach is very good.
Haven't tried Cuvée 30-A but the original on 98 is outstanding.
There also used to be a little Italian place next to Cafe 30A that had good pizza. Can't remember the name.

Angelina's. It's pretty solid for pizza.

Got steamed shrimp from Goatfeathers seafood market to take home to eat. Was really good. If you do, grab some of their house made cocktail sauce and crab and artichoke dip.

The owner/chef of Stinky's is from Lafayette and started out as a Sous Chef at Commanders. I've eaten there about 5-6 times and its on point. It's at the beginning of 30A on your way over to Watercolor/Seaside. Make sure to get there early as the wait can be lengthy. They do have a gift shop and you can have a cold beer or two while you wait.

The hub is one of my favorite places to go hang out in the evenings. Admittedly, the food wasn't as good as I wanted it to be, but the place is really cool. Lots for the kids to run around and do. Usually a movie or a band playing. They actually had some good bourbon there last year, too.

FIFY seaside is just plain awful now. We try to stay as far away from there as much as possible. There are still pockets on 30A that are still quaint and quiet. But, generally speaking, the crowds on 30a have gotten out of control.
