I would think maybe 1/2" of water and make sure it doesn't run out

Does your rice cooker have a basket so the boudin isn't sitting in the water?

Do yourself a big favor. Put it on indirect heat on the barbq or gas grill. Will taste better to.

I rub it with a bit of oil and put it in the toaster oven. Turns out awesome.

Most places that put it in a rice cooker do so it stays good throughout the day, but good luck eating it without them cutting it up for you.

You need to keep the boudin above the water level. It's basically steaming it.

Just roll up a piece of tin foil for the boudin to lay on (tootsie roll style) and it'll steam above the small amount of water.

You seem to be shite out of luck then. If your boss doesnt mind, how bout putting some newspaper in the break room sink and starting a fire. Roast your boudin over the fire like you would a hotdog wiener?

You know it's done when you pinch the skin and it pops back out.
