All I can say is I don't know how anyone could put this place on a "Best Pizza" list. The crust was relatively thin, but anyone could duplicate it in a home oven, probably even without a pizza stone.

I wish we had a true Neapolitan pizza in Baton Rouge, a la Ancora in New Orleans. Mama Della comes the closest, but there's still quite a ways to go.

No, then you've never had good pizza. It's not much better than pizza with a baking soda crust.

Never tried Theo's but have been thinking of trying it.

Just for reference, what places do you like better?

Not going to argue with your list as I like several of the ones you list. Isabella's is my choice when I crave pizza.

Because they're morons. Theo's is crap. Their crust is on par with a fricking frozen Red Baron.

Actually, Red Baron may be a little better.

I'd be willing to bet you have at least one in your freezer right now. Am I right? Am I right?

Oh btw, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club in Houston on April 28th at Warehouse Live. You interested?

I think I destroyed one a few weeks ago coming home a bit sauced. So currently I think I'm out.

I saw an email about the show last week. I might be in BR that weekend for our crawfish boil and baseball game. Not set in stone yet but I was thinking of suggesting that weekend. You wanting to come to HTown for that show?
