Best hamburger steak in town. Can't go wrong with any of the menu items.

Yes. Good burger. Nice owners. They do a good job processing deer too, but are damn proud of their services.

As far as the burgers and hamburger steak, you better like meatloaf.

Great plate lunches. Their crawfish is ok but I prefer Jimbos if I'm going to get already boiled. Good cuts of meat too.

I always found their prepared lunches (hamburgers, hamburger steak, etc) to be way over-seasoned with Tonys' or whatever particular blend they use. It might it even be their own - I'm not sure. But to me it just overwhelms everything else.

I've never noticed this. Was it on more than one occasion?

It is kinda funny a place with sicilian name doesn't have one single pasta dish.

I don't know the owners but maybe it's their last name.
Still I never noticed that no pasta dishes were on the menu because I always get either fresh meat or one plate lunch.

It is according to the website.
quote:
The Tramonte's originated from Palermo, Italy. Palermo is a historic city in southern Italy. It is also the capital of the region Sicily. Palermo is located in the north-west of the island of Sicily. Our great grandfather, A.D. Tramonte, and his sister left Palermo as children, where they arrived at Ellis Island, eventually migrating to Gramercy, Louisiana where he settled, married, raised his family. He started out farming when he arrived selling his fruits and vegetables out of a 12 x 20 building. He later grew his business and opened Tramonte's Store. The pictures below will give you some idea.
