wife and I went there after the pelicans turd circus last night

it's in the spot that used to be purloo inside the southern food and beverage museum. it was packed so we are at the food bar at the open kitchen. The menu is modernized southern food and it's really good

we started with some incredible biscuits and crab fat butter, and a big plate of fried green beans over a ham hock and cabbage relish. Then had a cold sliced lamb loin plate with corn and pickled veggies and a roasted chicken in jus with pork dumplings and broccoli

with cocktails and dessert it was right at 100 bucks

other plates that looked good were a brisket, a big pile of fried pork chops, and a "Louisiana" stew. The service was really friendly and warm

nice place and superior food

Been a few times in the last month or so.

Lots of small plates that were pretty good
