Good call. My favorite in that genre is to steep some watermelon chunks and a sliced jalapeño in a handle of tequila for about 5 days. Then strain and re bottle. Make a margarita with lime and simple to taste.

Similar effect to a bloody mary but not as heavy

Summer beer is pretty good. I can't remember the exact amounts, but it's something like one can of frozen lemonade concentrate, fill the empty can up with vodka, then mix vodka and lemonade with 4 Miller Lites

My go to: Pineapple-Mint Vodka LINK

Peel and slice 1 pineapple. Combine in a large jar with one 750-ml bottle vodka and 2 mint sprigs. Let sit for at least 8 hours and up to 3 days (the flavor will grow stronger the longer it sits). Strain. Muddle strained-out pineapple and mint for drinks if desired.

When @the beach it is imperative to stay hydrated. Here's a twist on the classic piña colada.

6 oz vita coco coconut water
2 oz pineapple juice
2 oz cruzan coconut rum
1 oz Myers rum
plenty of ice.

Stir first three ingredients and pour over ice. Float the Myers on top & enjoy.

Get a seedless watermelon and cut into cubes. Place watermelon cubes into ziplok bags and toss into freezer.

Make frozen margaritas with your favorite tequila and use the frozen watermelon as the ice. Enjoy.

Makers and sprite/ginger ale to start the day. Maybe 3-4 oz of bourbon in a solo cup filled with ice, fill to the top with the sprite. After you finish that one, switch to beer. At lunch when someone walks back up to the condo to make sandwiches, that person should also fire up the blender and bring back a round of frozen drinks. Margaritas are a little too much for on the beach. But a strawberry/pineapple daiquiri, pina coladas, or something with rum in it is a good start. Then, more white cans.
