Tiki bar "Latitude 29" coming to old Iris space in Bienville House

but there was an NPR interview with the owner over the weekend that was pretty interesting: WWNO

Peters St. in the Bienville House hotel, is currently occupied by Iris, which will be closing at the end of May. Iris proprietors Laurie Casebonne and Ian Schnoebelen will be concentrating on their newer restaurant, Mariza, which opened in the Bywater in 2013.

I agree with you.
I know only one person in town that has shown any interest in this place. I don't get the whole Tiki theme. Especially not in a city.
