When you eat them with bread, you don't get that tangy kinda taste at the roof of your mouth.

I'll take your word for it. I never did eat them. I did have potted meat sandwiches when I was a kid, though. They were awesome.

There are things I rarely ever eat anymore: pizza rolls, hot pockets, store bought frozen pizza, a chicken my mom made with balsamic vinegar and Greek seasonings, hot n spicy cheez its

And things I never eat anymore: chef boyardee, kid cuisine, hostess snacks, dunkaroos, whipped cream sandwiches (literally whipped cream between two pieces of white bread),table crackers topped with butter and sprinkled with sugar, Capri sun, sunny-d, orangina,

I still eat most everything I ate as a kid. The ones that are more rare now are things like Ramen, Potted Meat, and Bagel Bites. Although I got a craving for Bagel Bites and bought the 40 pack at Wal Mart a few weeks ago. They lasted all of 3 days in our house. I cooked a sheet full and all of a sudden everyone was hungry.

Definitely cheese in a can. That was so much fun as a child.

I've sort of thought about having a fish stick and fried bologna sandwich for fun, but haven't done it.

LSUBalls - Cereal

I have a cereal story. At one point in my work years I was Sr. Quality Engineer for Packard Electric division of General Motors. There was a Manufacturing Director there who became a good friend - Talmadge Portis.

Talmadge told me that he was painfully poor when he was a kid. One day he was at a neighbor's house and they had Kellogg's Cornflakes and offered him a bowl. He said that the cereal was the best thing he had eaten in his entire life and that day he made a commitment that he would do whatever it took to rise high enough in life that he could have cornflakes whenever he wanted.

He was the second highest employee in the Mississippi Division of Packard. I'd say he conquered his commitment.

I have known people who were very intelligent. I have known people who were very smart. I have known people with high moral ethics. Talmadge was all three. You don't meet many peole like that.

We have both in the fridge right now and that sounds interesting. I might try to beat you to it.

I didn't write it correctly. I don't want the fish on the sandwich.

Sitting in a boat half-lit with a brand new sunburn about six hours into a four hour fishing trip, those things eat like prime rib.

I used to eat hot dogs for what seemed to be every damn summertime lunch on the front porch. I don't really like them anymore but every once in a while I'll crave a good one. I guess I got burnt out
