That looks like it'd be fun.
I'd eat my weight in tamales.

And if Doe's did enter the contest, there product would place closer to the bottom five than the top. But they do good steaks and fried shrimp.

Need to send some of the people in Zwolle that cook tamales out of their homes.

Come on up and enjoy! We'll put a smaller serving on a plate for you, call it "tapas" and jack the price 5x.

The entire Delta is third world.

It's like time stood still since the 20's.

For the most part, they both are, as is the Delta. But if you stare at a cloud long enough, you'll find the silver lining.

There are some good things in the Delta.

Research the Hot Tamale Trail and you'll pick up theories on the origins of the Delta Hot Tamale style. It's unlike the others.

Well, the hunting is awesome.

Add tamales to the list.

I know nothing about tamales, in general (let alone how obviously Misssissippi Delta ones are different).

It´s an Indian (now Latino) thing, not Spanish.

Done correctly, they are excellent. I think High Hat advertises a Delta style serving...I have not tasted them. Drive to the Donut Shop in Natchez and you'll get some very good ones.

Be thankful you have never been to the real Third World Africa".

I know you haven't because if you had (and I have), you would know that the people of third world Africa would love to have the homes and food and opportunity and safety and money that the folks in the Delta (As poor as they are and yes they are poor) have.

Always irritates me when I hear people say "That place (insert name of your favorite bad area of America here) is awful. It is just like the Third world!" - I have been to the third world. The worst places in America is much better than the third world.
