Tom said yesterday that his show will be leaving its current broadcast frequency. I didn't catch when the change would happen, but his show will be switching to the station's HD 2 channel soon. You will have to have an HD radio to pick it up over the air after that. How many have that in their car?

As always, it will still be available streaming over the internet. But he'll lose me as a listener and caller.

ETA: I guess it will be WWL-FM's HD2 channel since HD radio is on FM frequencies. That channel already carries 1350's sports programming.

I live in BR so the only time I hear him is on Saturday when he does WWL. I wonder what's pushing the change.

I haven't been listening much lately.

My wife's car has HD Radio but my truck doesn't. He's going to lose quite a few listeners.

You can hardly hear the show in its present frequency. There is so much competing static that you can only understand a third of the conversation. I'm guessing that has something to do with the move.

I drove from Metairie to Gonzales yesterday afternoon. I heard his show all the way there.

When I started to drive back, the sun was going down. I couldn't hear the show clearly until I was almost to Laplace. After sunset, they have to redirect their signal going north in order to protect a radio station in Mississippi on a similar frequency.

I bet he asked about the brined turkey and the root beer glazed ham recipes.

And if that sandwich is a poorboy or poboy.

I didn't usually ask a question. I called him about the Jambalaya Calculator one time - he didn't understand it and thought it had a virus.

I called him about our Christmas meal - I did a sous vide pork roast. He went on and on about what sous vide was, but I think he views it as a fad.

I remember I called him one time when he was talking about crab cakes. I offered the tip of pureeing shrimp into a paste to serve as a binder for it.

I've called a few other times but I don't recall what all of them were about.

He talks down to everyone. I used to call a lot but haven't listened to him lately since I'm not down there as much. I have an old chow number.

Paul Allen probably tickles Toms arse with a feather.

What did I say about keeping my name out your mouth? You don't know me. Now tell me why you find it necessary to keep incessantly insulting me.
