Damn... going there to for a friend's bday. I'm already kind of leary of the food and this thread isn't really assuaging my concern.
Dont worry the food is fine. If you are not into Thai food or just want to go with a "safe" choice get the Grilled Garlic Shrimp.

It's good. Their prices indicate that they think it's spectacular.
ETA: It will be a hell of a lot more fun than Rama for a birthday party. We used to get pretty shitty and do karaoke.

It will probably be good for you then, because it is more like Chinese food than the other restaurants. Relax man it's not going to kill you, or make you sick

What did you think of the place and food?

I have a pic of one of those nights floating around somewhere. Think it involved a rousing rendition of the Bee Gees Staying Alive.

We went to the new location for the first time yesterday and were quite disappointed. The food just wasn't as good. It has always been rather greasy but this was even worse. I wont go back for a while, maybe if I hear they work out the kinks but I would rather eat about any other thai place in town. Thai Pepper and Rama are both way better.

Thai Pepper is my favorite of all the Thai restaurants in the city. It's probably my favorite restaurant in all of BR, to be honest. Their lunch buffet never fails to hit the spot, and is far superior to Thai Kitchen's buffet.
