Terrible Service in BR

Can anyone recommend any restaurants/bars that actually give good customer service? I've worked service industry practically my whole life and I will usually give servers/bartenders the benefit of the doubt but in the past month or so I have walked out on more than I can ever remember. Anyone else having this problem in BR?

Those 2 things don't go together. I've rarely heard of anyone I know walking out of a restaurant because of poor service in my entire life, so you doing it multiple times in the last month says either your standards are unrealistic or you have some stories to share.

Izzo's on Corporate. Casa Maria on College. Trust me my standards aren't high. How bout being sat, no one coming to the table for 15 minutes, finally order a beer. Dos XX lager. Was brought an unopened Dos XX Amber. I was waiting to tell the waitress I would like an opened Dos XX lager but she never came. I found her gave her the bottle and politely walked out. That's just one example.

Honestly me either but I've never had that kind of service there. It was kind of funny actually. I mean who serves an unopened beer?

Probably someone who has never waited tables. Mexican joints seem to have random family members working.

I need to know what happened at Izzos. I think it would be damn near impossible for them toscrew something up.

yeah sometimes they take a while for the chicken quesadillas, but besides that ...never had an issue

let me preface by saying that I've given a lot of my money to Izzo's on Corporate so as a regular customer I have noticed some management issues over there recently but nothing to warrant not going anymore. Basically I called ahead for pick up and was left on hold, after 5 minutes I hung up and called back, young guy said he was sorry and put me on hold again, another 5 minutes go by then I get hung up on. Called back and talked to manager who tried to give me free meal, gift card, etc. but I said no thanks just wanted to let the manager know he needs to do a better job or help his employees if they're busy. I was having a bad day that day. I have no problem being on hold but don't leave me hanging.

Wasn't a food issue. Customer service issue. I just go to the one on Bluebonnet now.

So ur gonna hammer a place, where you say you are a regular customer, on a message board for poor service based on 1 kid who was in the weeds and likely made a mistake.... And at the same token was offered a free meal as an apology?

Did I hammer a place? I was asked what happened. That's what happened. I just asked if anybody has been having customer service issues in BR because I've noticed an epidemic. Be done with it and GFY.
