I used to go to the one here in Katy until last year when I ate there and got food poisoning...haven't been back.

It's in our rotation on pick up dinner night. I have enough newks cups to throw next year at mardi gras

Good soup, sandwiches, and mac & cheese. Can get a good iced tea. That's on the plus side.

On the minus side, crowded and noisy, especially from noon to one.

I always get the grilled steak sandwich with caramelized onions, provolone cheese and horseradish sauce...purty good stuff!

Surprisingly, the grilled shrimp poboy is spot on. It's not really a poboy in the traditional sense, but its a really good sandwich.

Better than Jason's Deli and McAllister's, but nothing like Panera

Panera's bagels puts them over the top. But for dinner, I prefer Newk's.

The Pimiento sandwich is great. I usually get the half sandwich and soup combo. Broccoli is good, the tomato basil is good. Corn and crab chowder is another good one. I don't think I've tried the rest of them. The kids love the breadsticks and grilled cheese. My wife like's the Newk's favorite salad. Pizza is good too. It isn't anything special, but for a chain place, they serve good food and all the ones I've been to are very clean and usually packed. Decent option for a somewhat fast meal when you're out.

Pretty tasty food, but stay away if you're watching your calories. The whole menu consists of fairly high-calorie food.

Same here. I tried it the first time I went to a Newk's. There's a place here that does a pimiento cheeseburger, and I thought it would work well in a grilled cheese too. I can count on one hand the times I've actually ordered something else, and most of those were a pizza. Call it a rut, whatever, but it is so good and I just get a different soup to mix it up. The tomato in the sandwich makes it though.

Newks won't be your favorite for much, but it's a great addition, especially if there are limited options.

Newks is one of the fast casual places that has a really wide variety, is efficient, and is fairly high quality.

The Newk's Q sandwich is really good. I like some of their salads also.

Sandwiches are good and salads are really good. I'm not a huge fan of their pizzas, their desserts are good also.

Exactly. It's not a place I ever really seek out for lunch, but I'm never upset if that's the choice. I know I can always find something I like there and leave satisfied

They have the closest thing to real French bread I've had outside of NOLA. The q is great!

Just tried crawfish pizza yesterday. It was good

Newks q and newks salad with chicken and their signature balsamic dressing is my favorites.

Get the something county caviar as your side.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. I'm a junky for chicken salad sandwiches and tomato basil soup. Seems like the kind of place my fiancée would really dig as well. Will likely end up in our lunch rotation if it lives up to yalls reviews. As always, I to FDB posters. Yall are the best
