Tampa : 1 Client Dinner Recommendation

Goin in a couple weeks for a meeting. Looking for somewhere to eat on a friday night. Staying at the Renaissance International, so something not too terribly far.
Cuisine doesnt really matter.... good local steakhouse would work, but open to suggestions. Not confident on how adventureous my fellow diners are.... thanks!

Considering you have one of literally the best steakhouses in the entire world there in Bern's, I would go with that.
It is damn good. Wine cellar is fricking amazing.

Yep, Bern's is the best restaurant in the entire state.

Columbia in Ybor if you wanted something other than a steakhouse. They have a damn good steak as well (not Bern's level of course), but tons of other options that are all very good. Tapas are good for ordering a few and sharing for a group, and the white chocolate bread pudding is the best dessert I've ever eaten. Probably top 10 best foods in general.

Also really good, but I think Berns is better for this particular request.

Trust me. Only the Grim Reaper can keep Boss out of that steakhouse at this point...and I doubt even his chance.

Bern's yep. The wine list is a thick as the yellowpages. Have them take you on a tour of the wine cellar.

Yup, no doubt. it is amazing.
Also to get Dessert, you essentially go to another restaurant. Very old school.

Berns for a steakhouse. If not a steakhouse, then I go with Cask Social. Place was fantastic; great southern cuisine.

The best food in all of Tampa is at a restaurant called The Stein and Vine. Small hole in the wall pub, and it's better than any restaurant previously mentioned. But, if you want steakhouse and something close Bern's is the top choice.

Mons Venus has a good steak

Also a great restaurant but not as good for this scenario, I wouldn't want to take a client anywhere near Ybor.

Bern's Steakhouse.
And make sure you don't miss dessert upstairs while listening to the piano.
Lastly, ask for a tour of the kitchen.
