Looking for any and all advice on the best spot to tailgate for a group coming in from out of town.

A small group of guys are making the bucket list trip down from Canada to Death Valley for the game against Florida.

Trying to find a tailgate we can join, willing to trade moose antlers or beaver pelts... if no interest in those items cash and booze/food can be substituted.

We are hoping the game gets moved to a night game to get the full Death Valley experience

Thanks in advance for any help

Just bring a movable ice chest and walk around. You should get plenty of free beer, food, and hospitality if you explain where you're from.

How old are y'all?

Eat at chimes. Drink some fine american craft beer unlike that swine y'all drink up north. Get some Oysters (1/2 off before 7) and food.

beausoleil , City Pork and Juban's (if your feeling fancy) are all solid restaurants.

as far as gameday goes, walk around with a cooler and talk like you are from Canada and most people will be very welcoming to their tailgate/food. "eh heard LSU is best tailgate, just trying to see what you guys are aboot"

The guys ages range from 25 to 33 and we won't need any fancy restaurants lol

What time is good to get down there? I've heard some people set up on Friday and we'd be ok with that just going to drive up Friday after the Saints Thursday Nighter game

Thanks again for the help

This is what the campus looks likes within a 1 or 2 mile radius of the stadium. Don't stay in one place, weave and bob. You will make new friends and eat/drink well all along the journey.

I can tell you that since its Florida, theres a great likelihood that CBS will broadcast the game and move it to 2:00 central. We hate when they do that. The tailgate party seems to drop to about 75% normal for afternoon games, regardless of the opponent.

If you have thick skin and really want to have some fun, wear some Florida Gator shite..

So not likely to be a night game? Not wearing any Florida shite maybe one of the other guys will..either way can't wait to finally watch a game at Tiger stadium.

Good idea. Get to campus early if the game is in the afternoon. When the game gets closer, either bump this thread if it's not locked or start a new one and you'll get plenty of invites to tailgates.

Oct 15 is thursday... Oct 17 is that sat. Its also same weekend as

Alabama vs A&M
Missouri vs Georgia

Its possible, albeit low, that the LSU/Florida is a night game. Depends on everyones schedules the week of.....

Come friday and cruise around campus. Plenty of bars and parties to enjoy friday nite. Get to campus 7am and start ur day. Tell everyone ur from Canada, enjoy their heckling and taste their food n spirits.

U will enjoy it

I'd say 3rd street down town and bar hop. Unless you want to go drink with a bunch of college kids, then go to Freds

I've been down lots for NFL games in the states the last couple years and love the heckling lol

seriously do what the others are saying. i have a tailgate by tower dr. if you just showed up and said hey we're from canada we'd take it as a personal challenge to get you as drunk and full on good food as humanly possible.

Ya now we are feeling like there won't be any issues with finding a good tailgate

Looking forward to it
