I've been part of a women's dinner club for 20yrs, meet every other month, rotate courses/houses.8 women, host invites 2 guests.Couple of non red meat eaters so we usually do seafood/poultry but have done beef/pork on occasion. Examples of entrees I've done in the past are BBQ shrimp, seafood enchiladas, boulliabase, stuffed tenderloin. Several courses served, all women to portions can be smallish.Any suggestions?

How adventurous would you say the group is, as a whole? What would be out of the question or poorly received?

Seasonally, I'm thinking

A decadent seafood gumbo, or
Your best turkey and dressing variation with quail or cornish hen, or
Lump crab au gratin aside a nice pork or beef medallion.

My wife likes to do fish in parchment (fish en papillote) with a white fish like sole, flounder, or turbot. Not too difficult and looks/tastes great.

Seafood paella: it's so pretty in the pan, which you can bring directly to the table.

Korean BBQ Tacos I have made these with brisket and pork. They are best with pork. Instead of the suggested boston butt, I used those pork ribs splits and it was amazing.
