Taking my Mom out to eat for her birthday, she’s requesting stuffed flounder. Any recommendations for stuffed flounder in or around Lafayette.
If I wanted stuffed flounder, I would normally make myself don’t have that option now.
Any help will be appreciated.

Don's Downtown has a good traditional stuffed flounder and Mazen has a very nice fish selection on their dinner menu.

Another vote for Don's Seafood for stuffed flounder. It's a favorite of several family members.

Thanks I didn’t even know there was a Mazens in Laf. I like the one in Lake Chuck.

Riverside Inn is the best answer, by a mile.

Get some fried gator too.

Poor Boys has been nixed already, Dons does sound good. What about Pats or Prejeans?

Don's = Pat's Henderson... has been's who take short cuts (frozen food), pre-fab

I haven't been to Prejean's in 20 years, but its a huge tourist trap, concerned with one thing: maximizing profits. I have no idea if they have stuffed flounder.

You asked for the best stuffed flounder. Several people have given you the correct answer. I've lived in Lafayette since 1982, and i live to eat. Poor Boy's has the best stuffed flounder.

If you go to Don's and are under 75 years old, you will drive the average age down by a millenia.

Prejeans may be a tourist trap, but I have never had bad food there and the atmosphere is very nice. I think it gets an undeserved bad rap

If it was my call I would go to Poor Boys. My Mom has been there a couple of times and doesn’t care for it.
Not my decision.
I know Prejeans is a tourist trap but I have a had a few things from there that were pretty tasty.

I had stuffed flounder at Fezzo's and enjoyed it. Can't remember if it was a special or an everyday menu item.

Don's Seafood Hut made a good one years ago...I have not been there in a long time, though.
