Interesting. That may be the first higher end restaurant for LP. Walk On's and Stroubes Grille announced on their facebook page today to begin construction soon.

There aren't higher end places in Denham?

Here's an Advocate story about the new restaurants. I think a Walk-On's in Juban Crossing will make bank.

Higher end than Stroube's?

DS is mostly chains. I'm not aware of anything on the Stroubes level in the entire parish.

Looks nice, I wonder how it will do though. DS people prefer Outback.

I doubt it's as upscale as the one downtown but I'm not sure

Sounds like it will be more casual during the day to lure in the shoppers.

Excited about stroubes

Not a big fan of walkons but I figured Juban Crossing had a pretty good chance of landing one

Walk On's will make it due to all of the ignorant rednecks.

This second Stroube's...I don't know. Could be the beginning of the end for them. The one downtown isn't strong enough to support it if things turn bad. At least that my very early unresearched based opinion.

Yeah, it could really go either way. Downtown one does well enough, but it isn't like there are lines out the door or "sold out" reservations.

But at the same time, it could catch all the people from Sherwood and on eastward who like Stroubes.

There are more people with money in LP than downtown.

That's what I mean (well actually who has money was not at all what I cared about, but yes). It will catch all the people who drive into BR to eat already. It will be closer for everyone from Sherwood and on eastward.

Saw that this past weekend, I'm assuming they pulled out. Seems like this development is having problems since the flood. Lots of empty retail space, Kohl's pulled out after the flood, and so far, nothing has moved in after the flood occurred.

Kohl's has reopened and there were construction workers inside of the Stroube's location the past two weeks working on the building.
