If you mean the county I have a few in Healdsburg we frequent as we visit friends there often.

Scopa is great but small for that big of a group.

Baci Cafe is great and can fit that size.

Charcuterie is nice but we have only been for lunch.

Chalkboard nice small plates and can fit that size.

Valette is very nice and open, not loud but energetic. Great food and good for that size. We had 8 a couple weeks ago.

All of course have good wine. I love Scopa but we do with 2 or 4. It is just a small place. Valette or Baci would be my top picks for your group.

Any of them make reservations esp with a large group.

Scopa
Delicious but yes...small.

Baci
Never been...friends and neighbors complain about the expensive pizzas.

Charcuterie
Closed. Persimmon in it's place now but I wasn't impressed.

Chalkboard
All I can say is pork belly biscuits!!!

Valette
Chef Alec Graham is a magician. Valette is truly incredible. I put it up there with Barley Swine in Austin.

Don Chowder,

Heading there in April. Would love some recommendations of places to go and wineries to visit. Not interested in Big Hollywood Blockbuster Wineries.

Then stay the hell away from Coppola. I was there this weekend to pick up some silent auction donations...what a shite show.

I've got plenty of recommendations (food, wine, hikes, etc) based upon what you want to do. Feel free to email me donchowder@gmail.

As someone earlier said - The Girl and Fig. Tasty.

If you have time to catch a show the check out the Hop Monk Tavern in Sonoma. They always have good acts and the venue is awesome.

Gott's Roadside for some upscale burgers - south of St Helena. Don't take the Oakville grade if you get car sick at all.

There's always the CIA Greystone in St Helena. Student chefs but great food and service.

And I've heard good things about Glen Ellen Inn. It's a few minutes north of Sonoma.

You'll also be within pretty close driving distance of Petaluma. There are some decent restaurants there plus there's always Lagunitas. And if you get that far you might as well keep going west and head out to Tomales Bay/Point Reyes for some oysters and a gorgeous drive.

And a kickass ahi tuna sandwich.

Don I was back a couple weeks ago and posted hoping you would see. Ate Scopa twice. Man I love those lupini beans.

It's been over a year since I went there but the food was excellent. I got the braised lamb shank. The restaurant is pretty small though.
