Recently finished residency and started a staff job as a hospitalist and I've been wanting some new bourbon to celebrate so I went out today when I got off early and got a nice little haul...

I had been hearing good things about the E.H. Taylor line so I'm looking forward to those, and when you see a JPS 18 in the wild, well you just have to get it! Here's the full bar with the new additions

quite obvious that red wine is the red-headed step-child at your house.

Otherwise, you have an incredibly well stocked bar

I don't know how to manage to keep any Blanton's left in your bottle. That's like a druggie having extra coke left in his baggie.

I only crack open wine when there are others over. Otherwise I feel like I need to drink the whole thing in a day or two before it goes bad.

Internal Medicine, but more specifically hospitalist which basically means I admit people who are sick enough to be in the hospital, but don't see them in clinic later so all my work is in the hospital.

Thanks everyone! Feels good to be done and have my own patients and more responsibility.

I'll let you know when I crack it open. I have to work all weekend, but hopefully will get some time this coming week to crack it and the small batch open.

Actually I think the line is... "Its a tall buiding with patients, but that's not the point."
