Smoking Pig

. I was given a hind quarter from a wild pig. Very young not Big at all. How long you think I need to smoke it and about what temp?

225 degree until it reaches internal 190. However long that takes. I did 2 10 lb butts yesterday and they took 12 hours.

Very best meat you will ever eat. Will make you wonder why no one figures out a way to raise them (They do pretty good all by themselves) and sell them in stores.

Like others have said, Smoke him at a low temp (225) and check him every 30-45 minutes after 2-3 hours. I think he might take 4-5 hours, but he will be worth the effort. I would season mine with garlic salt and black pepper. You can use BBQ Dry rub, but he doesn't really need it.

Thanks for the responses. I was told how good that piece of meat is when my buddy gave to me.
