Mooyah at the wrong time is a complete clusterf**k
Not worth it
Smashburger is better but I can imagine the Baton Rouge masses descending on it, not worth any lines, wait till it calms down.

I order online at Publix deli all the time. It's great. Just show up, grab my sandwich from their cooler thing and pay and go.

It's a shite show in there. I wanted to post something similar last week but I ran out of time because I had wasted so much time waiting for my food. It took 35 minutes to get to counter and to get a burger.

I should have left but I wanted the opportunity to post this.

Burger was decent.

I'd bet at this point you knew it was going to be a bad experience, but you pressed on, with each experience making you more disastisied than the last.

When I feel this happening, I leave. It's no big deal.. Just go somewhere else. You're denying yourself the opportunity of a pleasurable experience elsewhere.

I had a similar experience at a restaurant in Lafayette.. People crowded around the front door smoking. I maneuvered through them, into the door and it was all downhill from there.

And the weird thing is, you could go again and have a totally different experience. Just remember when you keep pressing on, you're giving them money and paying for this experience. Sorry you had to go through it..

We're lucky to have In-N-Out now. Yes, it's a bit overrated especially by Cali transplants.

However, I've noticed the staff is always friendly, service is quick, and they're about 1/2 the price of Five Guys, etc. They are the Chik-Fil-A of burger chains.

If you were right there for swim lessons-meaning Bocage-you should have gotten a burger there. It's a top five in town easy.

This is why I listen to Paul Allen's friend Tom Fitzmorris and avoid new restaurants for several (for Tom it is 6) months.

And is In and Out the one that is in Covington just off I-12? Cause if so man that place blows.

Small burger at 5 Guys isn't too bad, they also make a good hot dog but I'm hard pressed to find a decent French fry anywhere. Duckfat, parmesan, rosemary, shite can't someone just advertise "crispy" and actually perform? That's all I ask for.

Frankly, this is endemic across much of the country I'm afraid. I've found some good gourmet-type fries, but they're few and far between. Everyone would be much better off just aiming for and delivering crispy.

Had a similar experience... about 15 minute wait in line.

Took around 5 minutes to get food.

Burger was good though.

Ate at the one on magazine Sunday and it tasted like the lid fell off the salt shaker. Tasted like it was battered in salt. So bad it burned my tongue. Me and my wife threw it away and left.

Not everyone.

Five Guys fries are my favorites. Don't want crispy.

BUT, aiming for fresh cut quality fries whether crispy or not I agree with. I don't want the other stuff.
Salt, ketchup and/or malt vinegar only.

Yea, instead of alerting management to an obvious error in cooking which would surely lead to a replacement cooked correctly, just throw it and your money away.

I've had Smashburger in other places. It really sucked. I asssume this is the same company. I won't be going there. Honestly, a whopper from Burger King is better.

Have you been? Totally underwhelmed. Wasn't terrible, but wasn't good either. Very bland and just barely OK.
