Are you that angry of a person? Why not give the manager some polite suggestions? If this place is new, maybe they're working out some kinks.

I've always found their food to be OK for that type of place.

Smashburger is just like Five Guys and Mooyah.. Don't ever go to those type of places when they're busy without ordering online.

They even have an app/mobile site. You can even sit in your car in the parking lot and do it.

It is rare I go to Five Guys/Mooyah/Izzos/etc., but when I do, I always order from the app first. You get to skip the whole line.

If I ever go back it will be when there is no one in line but unless I here some rave reviews

I suspect you won't hear any rave reviews here.

I've been once or twice to the one in NOLA, it's a decent burger nothing more. I'm sure you can find another burger joint up in BR and never think about Smashburger again.

They likely contributed with my frustration but seriously one register with 20 customers in line is not a "kink to work out" it's called poor management.

Maybe they had no idea what the crowd would be like at that times since they are new? How new are they? Sometimes a bigger rush just happens.

How is the place set up?

I had great experiences ordering online with Five Guys and Izzos. Mooyah, not so much. They're set up in a way where you have to push past the entire line and get the attention of the burger-makers if you ordered online. The counter is vertical instead of horizontal, if that makes sense.

Absolutely. I wish more places did it too. It is a life saver at a place like Izzo's where the line gets long and people have to "uhhh... umm.." and point to everything they want.

I always get stressed because I'm short and blind and don't want to hold up the line, so the online ordering is awesome. It is checklist style. Hell, I've found items via online ordering that I didn't even know were offered for free.

I just discovered that Newks does it. That is nice to know.

That's lunch rush time as far as I'm concerned, all hands on deck.

That's a little late to call a lunch rush. Usually it's dying down by 1. Still should have had another register open though.

I've eaten there twice and have enjoyed the food. I like to think they are working out kinks. It's only been a few weeks.

It's just online though, right?

I suppose so. I am on a desktop right now, so I don't know who offers apps.

The app is undoubtedly easier, but I'm okay with website version of online ordering as well.. as long as they have a mobile compatible site and I'm not trying to navigate a desktop version.
