Want to try a crawfish boil, but will only have 2 or 3 people eating. All the recipes I have seen are for large groups. Any advice or recipes for something for only a few people?

I posted a recipe for a sack in the Recipe Book. Cut it in half.

Boil a sack. Peel leftovers for another meal.

It's almost not worth it for anything less than a sack. It's definetly not worth it for anything less than a half sack.

You don't have any friends, family, or neighbors that would want to partake?

All else fails, cook a sack, peel what you don't eat, and freeze the meat for later use.

How much water / seasoning do you use to boil about 30 pounds?

Probably 6-8 gallons of water and a whole large package of powder seasoning

Just get a regular sack, then peel the leftovers and make an etouffe.

i do 10lbs for me and the woman all the time. same technique just cut the seasoning. i use 2 small packs of lousiana and couple ounces of liquid... still do onions, garlic, etc etc... just less than with a full sack obviously
