Kirkland vodka (American, it's cheaper and we are not vodka enthusiasts to care)

That stuff is magical for the price point.

I also really enjoy the Kirkland Scotch for an everyday or volume drinker.

My list:

Buffalo Trace
Kirkland Canadian Whiskey (I don't like this or Crown, but everyone else does.)
Kirkland American Vodka
Cane Run Rum
Kirkland Silver Tequila
Kirkland Scotch

As you can see, I'm a big Costco fan.

I'm not a big Rum drinker. I usually drink Bourbon, and occasionally will have some Vodka or Tequila on hand. But those are two widely known brands of Rum and while they're not top shelf, in the situation of buying for a party or get together, they'll be fine. All you're going to be doing is making mixed drinks out of the Vodka, Tequila, and Rum, and possibly mixing the bourbons as well. I've never been to a party at someone's house where they bust out some expensive rum and people are drinking it straight. Which is exactly what the OP asked for suggestions with. I probably haven't bought a bottle of rum this decade.

2 vodka, 2 whiskey, a high end rum and a bottle of tequila.

2 bottles of kettle one
1 bottle of woodford reserve
1 bottle of crown
1 bottle of Ron Zacappa
1 bottle of Don Julio

Feel like that should cover all your bases. One of the vodka could be swapped for scotch if it's an older or mostly male crowd. Otherwise if someone is a gin drinker frick um.

These are not necessarily my personal favorites, but if you want to stock for anyone who might drop by these are my choices.

Citadelle Gin
Makers Mark
Titos
Glenlivet
Bacardi (Bacardi is fine for mixing)
Cuervo (same as for Bacardi)

2 Bottles Kirkland Vodka (It's as good as any and like $15 a bottle)
1 Bottle Buffalo Trace
1 Bottle Bombay Sapphire
1 Bottle Kirkland Silver Tequila (Same as vodka)
1 Bottle Jameson

Have cokes (regular and diet), margarita mix and fresh limes, tonic water and club soda, and some juices/punch available for mixers.

You could probably get enough of all this for a decent sized party for $200 or less.

Waste of Ketel unless you're drinking martini's or something like that. Save $20/bottle and go with Tito's or $30/bottle and do Smirnoff.

I can agree with this.

Disagree with this. Ketel isn't any better than the others named. Ketel is a waste of money IMO.

At my old house, we had frequent parties with a decent amount of people. The drink that the ladies agreed on was a Kir Royale. Don't give the girls options and guys drink beer.

4 bottles of Wyclef champagne ($5.99)
1 bottle of Bol's Creme DE Cassie ($12)
1 keg of miller light
