Simple Sliders

Made some sliders tonight. Nothing fancy. I think using quality ingredients is very important. Usually, I get 20% fat ground beef, but today, I got 15% grassfed beef, as it was in sale for the same price as the 20%. I don't think I would go any lower than 15%, though.
I made some patties with kosher salt and fresh ground pepper.
I heated the grill to 800 degrees and put the patties on on side and immediately turned the heat off under the burgers, but kept the burners going full blast on the other side of the grill.
I cooked them about 3 Minutes and then flipped them.
I cheesed them immediately, because the cheese I was using was an aged cheddar that does not melt quickly. I let the cheese sit out for a while, so it was a little softer by the time it was time to put it on the burgers.
Fried eggs. Not quite ready.
Pull them now!
I toasted some deli slider rolls and plated them. Served with baked beans, chips, and watermelon (not shown).
These were fantastic. Good ingredients and paying attention pays off in the end.
