I finally used my Shun yesterday (it was a Christmas gift). I endorse this knife. It is waaaayy better than the Henckels I had before.

My thoughts exactly. I would like to get a Shun Chefs knife. I will stick with my Henckels for now

I'd like to see the carving set go on sale. Love the Shun knives that I have.

I like my henckels....they stay fairly sharp and are easy to sharpen. I learned some years ago that one key to keeping good knives is to not put them in the dishwasher.

yea other than that Santuku those other 2 knives are not something I'd ever use.
I have a set of the Wusthof Classics. You will like them.
