Not sure what board is appropriate for this. My friend and I are driving down close to the gulf tomorrow, possibly golden meadows or wherever anyone suggests. We are wanting to buy fresh shrimp, possibly oysters, and crabs. Any suggestions on where to go. TIA.

MS coast or LA coast? in Biloxi/Gulfport you can just walk out to the boat docks and they have all their catch in coolers.

Me and my buddy go trawling for shrimp in Borne everyweekend. I could get you his #. Huge shrimp and he'll sell them at 60% the market price. Just likes to get his money back on gas so we can keep going out there.

you will see no less than a few dozen signs advertising fresh shrimp once you get to Galliano/Golden Meadow.

Stop and see what any of them have as far as size and price.

you'll have a TON of options.

Docks at Delcambre or the joint(can't remember the name) just before the bridge to Grand Isle. Is that close enough for ya?

Seafood Shed on the bayou just south of GM. Shrimp always fresh, prices good and the operation is professional.
