Any of the Tom Douglas restaurants, Lola was one of my favorites for lunch, Etta's is also good. LINK
Mario Batali's Dad's meat market/restaurant...supposed to be amazing.
LINK
For Seafood, maybe try the Crabpot LINK
I highly recommend getting up early and walking down to the Market. It is nice to see them getting everything ready for the day. Stop in and have breakfast here, while you watch over the water. LINK
For beer Naked City Brewery
There used to be a bar/restaurant near the Sheraton, I can't remember the name that was down in a basement type area off the street. They had really good food and a huge selection of beers on tap.

Best steak in the city is at Metropolitan Grill downtown. Prepare to spend some dough.

Wild Ginger is good. Take the ferry to Bainbridge Island and eat at Cafe Nola

Salumi (Mario Batali's dad's place) was great. Get in line early.
Lola was good. Get the breakfast donuts if you are there in the am
Wild Ginger really good Asian Fusion cuisine. We did a tasting menu thing and they were all really good.
Nishino for sushi
Salty's on Alki Beach. Try the Dungeness Crab
Try some local microbrews!
Check out Pike Place market
Enjoy your time there!

I've been to a lot of steakhouses and this was the best I've been to
Only place I've heard of that rivals it is Killen's in Pearland.
Definitely better than any steakhouse in Louisiana

Ended up getting apps at my hotel restaurant and then getting dinner at Elliots by the water. Very good salmon and okay clams and mussels.
Thinking about going to that metropolitan steakhouse tonight, everyone
