Seasoning cast iron temp/time

In an apartment, only have an oven and vegetable oil but need to add another season layer on my dutch oven and skillet.

Heat you oven to 400 or so. Heat the skillet on the stove top. Rub it with an oiled towel. Pop it in the oven and cut the oven off. Forget about it until tonight.

Don't do that. Just give it a good even coat with no puddles.
