I have no idea how it took this long.
The Joe's location on Siegen was my first restaurant job 21+ years ago, and is still the most disgusting kitchen I ever worked in.

Food is terrible and very high priced

I'd assume the lease on that New Orleans location was enough to bankrupt them.

How in the shite did that place stay open in Baton Rouge for 20+ years?

There has been one in the Bossier Boardwalk for about 10 years, but I've never been. I've only had one person ever mention going. They must survive off of outlet-store shoppers who visit that area.

Ate at the one in Beaumont out of desperation, it being right next to my hotel and not wanting twin peaks or cheddars.. Huge mistake on my part, disgusting food.

Used to be owned by Landry's, Inc. I believe.

Thanks to snobby millennials....

Considering they made nothing from scratch like the Pappas restaurant family does, this is not the least bit surprising.

Did you work at one?

My neighbor was a GM at the one in Humble, north of Houston. They had tons of stuff from Cisco foods.... tons.

That is odd. Most large chains do not get their food from Sysco.

agree. Joe's was a heavy contributor to Sysco's exciting income statement.

JCS wins my Worst Restaurant in BR - Sit Down Chain Division award every year. I will be taking nominations to replace them, I'm thinking IHOP is a leading candidate.

I worked at the b.r. One freshman year of college. Every single item is frozen and it was by far the dirtiest restaurant I have seen. Easily the worst job I have ever had.
