Me and the wife were discussing places to go before the LSU game tomorrow. A lot of our usual places only do a sunday brunch. Looking to avoid downtown/CBD area and $25+ a plate prices. Been to Cafe Adelaide recently and enjoyed theirs but looking more lakeview/mid-city/uptown area.

Any recs would be appreciated.

Ruby Slipper in Mid-City is a quality brunch on the cheap.

I know this doesn't help you because it is in the quarter and is a little pricey but we tried brennan's for the first time since reopening this past sunday and it was great.

i'm a big fan of coquette's brunch as well

I went last Sunday for brunch. It was my first trip and was pretty solid. They offer a roll and cornbread with specialty butter & jam. It's a must order. IMO.

They also have discounted mimosas and bloodies.
Nice little place.
