Heard it was coming, but I just noticed it last night.
They closed the one in Prairieville, because it [insert reason]. They opened this one on Coursey in the same building where O'Henry's failed and were Walk-Ons failed. We'll see how it goes.

It's interesting people's different views on a given situation.
A few months ago, I was sitting on the patio at Sante Fe in Prairieville. Store was mostly empty, and the very nice manager was checking on us, and we had a nice conversation.
I mentioned that this was location because of some pretty stiff competition so close. So he says "no, this is a tough situation because this is a slow store, so I have to keep cutting staff."
Guess his job was managing cost, not generating revenue.

It's empty because their steaks, while at a good price, simply don't taste very good. I got a medium rare steak there once which had a great seer, was cooked perfectly, and had just the right texture, but it literally tasted like nothing. Never went back nor will i ever.

I went once and was very underwhelmed. Restaurant was nice for what it was, waiter was fine, just the food was blah.

Its pretty decent for a light lunch, like some grilled chicken and vegetables

Anyone know what's taking their old location spot in P'Ville?

The Santa Fe garbage company. I've been to the one here in thibodaux too many times. Left with a shitty taste in my mouth everytime. Won't go back. Would rather go to mcjiggles

Don't think anything is planned there yet, seems I saw a for lease sign there, and their chicken sandwich was pretty good

Went to the one that closed down in P-Ville once. Santa Fe is on my list with places like Golden Corral and a few others that I'll never step foot in again.

Every Santa Fe I have seen in Alabama has closed within a year of opening.
