Comparing a metro city population of close to a million with fairhope and fricking telluride. Solid.

Btw fairhope is close to double digits and telluride has two McDonald's and barely over 2k population.

Decent chain.

Ate at two in Texas, both brand new though.

The People of Fairhope spend a lot of time at the chains in Foley.

LMAO ... I guess "close to" IS a relative term ... only about 150-200k off, and that's counting 9 parishes.

Ya'll really think Baton Rouge is bigger than it is, and want it to be a "big city" ... but then again, you really don't.

What's your point? Atlanta metro area is over 10 counties.

All you had to do was turn right in to the Outback/ Phoenix University/ Marriott side street, make a quick U and get back in the traffic light and drive straight into the parking lot. This was often times quicker than trying to turn left from Acadian/ Airline/ or College Drive in BR.

Based on my experiences with both, I'd say TX Roadhouse is on par with Chili's/Outback, and Saltgrass is a bridge between those two and a Ruth Chris/Mortons.

That's a pretty good description. Saltgrass attempts to mesh "fine dining" and the casual Texas theme. Their servers use fine dining verbiage and service standards, while still being able to carry on a conversation with guests. Definitely a bit higher up than Road House, but certainly not a Mortons (also owned by Landry's Inc).

Saltgrass is by far the best steakhouse I've ever been to for the money. You can't get a steak that delicious under $30 anywhere else. If you disagree you're lying.
