for steak and seafood, your best bet is ruffino's. i think they do both really well.

i like stroubes, but not crazy about their steaks.

flemings is the best of the chain steakhouses, with ruths a close 2nd...but seafood isnt their forte'

Out of those two, Ruffino's 100% of the time. IT's not even really close IMO.

Otherwise:
Juban's
Mansur's
Stroube
Little Village
Le Creole

Many other options

yeah I wasn't a big fan of that place either. Ruth's is much better.

Ditto. I won't order steak there again.
I'd go Flemings, mansurs, ruffinos, or Gino's.

I like both.
Can't go wrong with either.

Last time however I was at ruffiinos my plank roasted salmon looked more like a minnow than salmon filet.

My husband and I went to Flemings once because my son gave us a gift certificate. I debated between ordering soup or salad - decided on salad. It was served with a chilled fork.

I don't think the waitress got it when I told her I was glad I hadn't ordered the hot soup.

Seriously, whose bright idea was that? They also gave me a black napkin instead of a white one so I wouldn't get lint on my dark pants. Gee, guys, perhaps use a better quality linen instead? Just a thought. Anyway, I found the place silly and pretentious and not worth the money, but I'm OT trashy.
