I am thinking the filet. Any suggestions? I searched and it looked like that has been pretty popular. Thanks.

Pork cheek app is really good, too. I got the pork tchoupitoulas as my entree and really enjoyed it.

We went Saturday night. My wife had the filet with crabmeat. I had the prime rib. The prime rib was one of the best I've ever had. It was every bit as tender as her filet!

If you're hungry, do yourself a favor and get the prime rib.

We also had the scallops and pork cheek for appetizers, both were superb.

Not sure if Lafayette has the Hanger Steak special with crabmeat but if they do it's awesome. Had it Friday night in BR.

Janky, Hope you enjoy everything my man. I won't be there tonight, in BR, but want to give you Rockstar treatment. Ask for Morgan or Will and they will make sure you do.

Well, how was it? Janky, give us an update, unless you are still on the date! Which would be a good thing

It was good. The wife and I each started with a salad. She had the sensation and I the lettuce wedge, both were good. As an entree she had the shrimp sorrento and said it was outstanding. I decided on the prime rib medium rare. The flavor and tenderness was very good but more medium plus than medium rare. Mine came with a side of mashed potatoes that were ok. We got cheesecake to go and ate it at the house. This was by far the worst part of the meal. I honestly think they made a mistake while making it. The texture was great but there was absolutely no hint of sweetness, I think they forgot the sugar. All in all, it was a good meal. I did not ask for Will or Morgan like Ruffin suggested for the "rockstar" treatment. I wanted to see how it would go as a regular patron. I will say this, the service was more than outstanding. Ruffin, if you read this you should consider the team wait staff concept in BR. Morgan said y'all were trying it here and I thought it was great. Your two managers were constantly floating around checking on guest and helping to clear tables. They did a great job. I will be back and look forward to when it opens for lunch.

That's one thing I noticed when I went, there were probably 2:1 employees to customers on the floor.

I've never had their cheesecake for dessert but their crabmeat cheesecake is a can't miss. I couldn't go there without having it to start.

I ordered mine mid rare and it came out perfect. Most tender prime rib I've ever bitten into!

It was so pretty, my wife had to take a pic of it
